Winter in Port Douglas

WE CALL THIS "WINTER"

With daytime temperatures of around 25 degrees, and nighttime temperatures decreasing to perhaps 17 degrees, this is the depth of winter in Tropical North Queensland.

Days are usually sunny with tradewinds being prevalent in June and July.   Ideal for relaxing on a terrace and enjoying the relaxed TNQ lifestyle.

If you are thinking of listing a Port Douglas area property, we are entering the tourist high season, so it's a great time of year to be doing so, with many potential buyers in the area and researching property online.  If you're buying, then it's the time when investment properties often show the greatest rental income, and when lifestyle businesses for sale are at their busiest - I suggest you take a look at Cote Nord Property Port Douglas's current listings.

For a gentle introduction to living in the tropics, it's an excellent time to move to TNQ.  Plenty of time to acclimatise before the wet season arrives.  Personally, the start of June saw me celebrating 22 years of living here!
