FOCUS ON REEF PARK LAKE ESTATE, A RESIDENTIAL AREA WITHIN PORT DOUGLAS
This is an established residential area located about 4 km from Macrossan Street and 1 km from Four Mile Beach, Port Douglas. The streets in the estate are named after different reefs on the Great Barrier Reef. An IGA supermarket, mobile coffee van, pharmacy, and bottle shop are located next to the tourist attraction, Rainforest Habitat, facing onto Port Douglas Road. There is a primary school in Endeavour Street, as well as Catholic and Anglican churches.
Developed about 30 years ago, the blocks of land are large, there is underground power supply, and the estate is centred around Reef Park Lake, which is tidal and fed by the inlet. Just over 20 properties are actually lakefront, and benefit from views, breezes and a special sense of tranquillity.
